Looking for something more personal and unique?

It’s no secret that we are in love with Larimar — the rare, vibrant blue stone that’s become a staple of Atelys Jewelry.
Larimar is a variety of the silicate mineral pectolite found only in the Dominican Republic.

Although larimar was known by locals of the city Barahona for centuries before, the stone was rediscovered in 1974 by Miguel Mendez and Normal Rilling and given the name ‘larimar’ — a combination of the name ‘Larissa’ (Mendez’s daughter’s name) and ‘mar’ (the Spanish word for ‘sea’)

Larimar is also known as the Atlantis Stone or Stefilia’s Stone.

Atelys “Sea Urchin Collection” was inspired by the beauty of the sea urchins, and made using real sea urchin shells found in Turks and Caicos through the process of lost wax casting.

After the casting process, the solid .925 sterling silver urchins are shaped, soldered and polished by hand.

Each piece has a particular and stunning sea urchin surface, full of textured detail, making each piece one of a kind.

Hand stamped bespoke pieces.
